Seggiano's Sesame Grissini are crisp, golden Italian breadsticks generously studded with sesame seeds for a delicate, nutty crunch. Light and satisfyingly snappable, they carry the toasty flavour of sesame against a clean, well-made bread base, offering the perfect balance of texture and taste. A classic appetiser from Piemonte, made the traditional way.

These grissini are handmade by a family bakery in Piemonte that has specialised in making artisan breadsticks since 1945. The dough is crafted using simple, authentic ingredients including locally milled flour and quality Italian extra virgin olive oil, then hand rolled into their long, characteristic shape and fast baked to a perfect crispness. Seggiano, founded in 1985, champions exactly this kind of genuine artisan production from small Italian producers.

Wonderfully versatile, these sesame breadsticks are ideal for antipasto snacking, served alongside cheeses, dips, and cured accompaniments, or simply enjoyed on their own. Vegan and made with authentic ingredients, they are an essential and elegant addition to any sharing board or Italian-style gathering.

Ingredients

Italian WHEAT flour, sesame seeds 8.5%, Italian extra virgin olive oil, sea salt, natural yeast, BARLEY malt.

May contain traces of hazelnut, almond or walnut. The flour used in these breadsticks is from a mill which also handles soya.;
