Banhoek Chilli Oil Infused with Asian Spices

Banhoek's Asian Chilli Oil takes the brand's celebrated original formula and layers in a warming, aromatic blend of classic Asian spices, creating a distinctly East-meets-South-Africa bottle that opens up a world of new culinary possibilities. Szechuan pepper, star anise, coriander seeds, fennel seeds, cloves, cardamom, cinnamon bark, and bay leaf are infused alongside locally grown Bird's Eye chillies into premium non-GMO canola oil from the Overberg region, using Banhoek's signature induction heating process for consistent, perfectly calibrated extraction.

As with the whole range, the oil is made in small batches in Stellenbosch, passed through a 16-stage filtration to produce a clear, clean, vibrantly flavoured oil that retains the character of every spice without any residue or bitterness. Banhoek is a brand rooted deeply in its Cape Winelands home, founded by brothers-in-law who conducted more than 60 test batches before launching a product they were proud to put their name to.
