Giesen 0% Sparkling Brut

Giesen 0% Sparkling is a light, playful, and genuinely refreshing alcohol-free sparkling wine crafted from premium New Zealand grapes. The aroma is pure and inviting, leading with fresh lemon and grapefruit alongside softer notes of pear and blossom. On the palate it is fruit-driven and effervescent, with bright citrus and pure stone fruit carried on a fine, lively bead. It is made to be enjoyed on its own terms rather than as a substitute, and it earns that by keeping the focus on freshness, balance, and drinkability.

Giesen has been family-owned by brothers Theo, Alex, and Marcel since 1981, farming vineyards across Marlborough's sought-after Wairau Valley, where stony, well-draining soils and wide day-to-night temperature swings produce grapes of exceptional balance. Crucially, Giesen's 0% wines are not constructed soft drinks. Each one begins life as full-strength wine and completes the entire winemaking process before the alcohol is gently removed using spinning cone technology, a low-temperature method that captures the delicate aromatics and returns them to the wine. The finished bottle contains no more than 0.5% alcohol by volume, a level comparable to that found naturally in fruit juice.

Serve well chilled in a flute or wine glass wherever a conventional sparkling wine would be poured: toasts, celebrations, aperitifs, and long lunches. Its citrus lift and fine bubbles make it an excellent partner to canapés, fresh seafood, and light summer dishes, and it works particularly well as the base for an alcohol-free spritz.
